Amy Serin, PhD
Dr. Amy Serin is an internationally recognized neuropsychologist and stress expert on a mission to help you live your best life. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1996 as Valedictorian (Moeur Award), she obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University in 2006. She then founded Serin Centers in 2007 to integrate cutting-edge, results-oriented neuropsychology into profound and permanent results for her clients. Her unique blend of scientifically based methods for anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, autism spectrum disorders, giftedness, performance enhancement, and life challenges are "truly revolutionary" according to Huffington Post. Since 2007 Serin Centers have helped thousands of kids, teens, and adults reach their full potential.
Dr. Serin serves on the scientific advisory board of Sens.ai, an AI powered neurofeedback and brain longevity consumer headset. She is also the Chief Clinical Director at Dharma Dr., AI integrated wireless tabs for stress relief and integrated therapy. Dr. Serin pioneered Neural Reset Technique, a technique therapists of any clinical orientation can utilize to desensitize triggers and panic and improve the efficacy of therapy. Dr. Serin is also one of the only board-certified clinicians in the United States with technology and protocols to induce deep meditative states for trauma release without the use of psychedelics or ketamine.

Dr. Serin is an Arizona native who is passionate about health and wellness. In her spare time, she enjoys all things active, spending time with her two teenage sons and fiancé, and unsuccessfully trying to get her mini-Goldendoodle to stop terrorizing passers-by when on walks.

Meena Choi, PhD
Dr. Meena Choi can help parents be sure they are focused on the right treatments for their children. She assesses and treats children and families for depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, attentional problems, autism spectrum symptoms, school difficulties, loss, and trauma.
Dr. Choi utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques, EMDR therapy, play therapy, and parent training to assist her clients in reaching their goals and improving their lives. Dr. Choi consults closely with parents, as they are invaluable sources of information and partners for intervention.
Dr. Choi graduated from Arizona State University with dual degrees in Psychology and Child and Family Studies. She obtained her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (with a focus on children) from the State University of New York at Albany.
She is a clinical supervisor for Post-Doctoral Fellows and Doctoral Interns at Serin Center.
Dr. Choi is a member of the Arizona Psychological Association, Arizona Association of Play Therapy, and the Arizona Children's Services Network. In her spare time, Dr. Choi enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.

Samantha Jacobson, PsyD
Samantha Jacobson, PsyD is a Neuropsychologist and a licensed Clinical Psychologist in Arizona with multiple years of experience with both therapy and assessment. Instilling hope in clients while equipping them with creative solutions to life's challenges are the aspects of her career that Dr. Jacobson values most.
She uses an integrative and client-tailored approach when treating children, teens, and adults with depression, severe mental illness (SMI), anxiety, PTSD, mood disorders, eating disorders, relational stress, narcissistic abuse, and family conflict. Dr. Jacobson utilizes EMDR therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapies, and play therapy.
Dr. Jacobson conducts neuropsychological assessments for autism, specific learning disabilities, differential diagnoses, and ADHD. She administers quantitative electroencephalograms (qEEGs) and provides neurofeedback. She also supervises Doctoral Interns at Serin Center.
Dr. Jacobson graduated from Jacksonville State University with a degree in psychology and obtained her master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology from Midwestern University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Andrea Menhennet, PhD
Andrea Menhennet, PhD is currently attending Walden University's Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program. Andrea received her Master's degree from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in marriage and family therapy before becoming a licensed therapist. She worked in private practice experience before joining the Serin Center team. Andrea works with a broad range of clientele and is comfortable working with any population. She specializes in subconscious therapies such as EMDR and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET); and integrates Psychodynamic and CBT therapies in her work.
At Serin Center, Andrea is excited to learn how applied neuroscience can improve psychological outcomes and provide more tools for clients to reach their life goals. In her spare time, she enjoys being physically active and spending time with her family and friends.

Baylee Gardner, BS
Baylee Gardner, BS is currently attending Northern Arizona University’s Clinical Psychology PsyD Program. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Brigham Young University-Hawaii with a Bachelor's degree in general/ experimental psychology with a minor in English. While there, she presented research to community members of Laie, Hawaii on the symptoms and treatment options for mood disorders with a goal of destigmatizing mental health disorders.
Baylee has knowledge of Cognitive Testing, Diagnostic Processes, Objective Personality Testing, and Neuropsychology. She is trained in EMDR and enjoys helping clients heal from PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, Social Anxiety Disorder, and more.
Baylee is Originally from Washington State and loves helping her community through volunteer work such as setting up programs at a local library and working with a South Sudanese refugee program. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.

Maile Nguyen, BS
Maile Nguyen, BS graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and has plans to pursue a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. Maile's kind, approachable style makes clients comfortable during their neurofeedback training sessions. She is passionate about helping others and loves connecting with everyone she meets. She finds it rewarding to be able to help everyone and especially enjoys working with children and adolescents at Serin Center who want to improve their attention, mood, sleep, anxiety, and trauma.
Maile loves working in a career where she can make a difference to the best of her abilities. She enjoys seeing the real-life changes her clients experience and gains a deep sense of satisfaction knowing she has truly made a difference in their lives.
Maile is an Arizona native. She enjoys reading, traveling, listening to crime podcasts, and spending time with her friends and family in her free time.

Nancy Salinas Burgett, PhD, BCBA-D, LBA
Prior to becoming a Clinical Psychology doctoral student at Fielding Graduate University, Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas Pan American (UTPA), Master of Arts degree in Experimental Psychology from UTPA, and a PhD in Special Education from Texas Tech University. She is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctorate with 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities (DD). Her competency areas include assessment and treatment of challenging behaviors, Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI), and addressing language, executive function, social, and adaptive deficits in the DD population. She served as an adjunct instructor for the Department of Educational Psychology and Leadership at Texas Tech University for four years and the Graduate Psychology Department at Purdue Global University for three years.

Zoë Getrost
Zoë Getrost is a doctoral student at Northern Arizona University pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She earned her B.S. in Psychology, along with a B.A., a minor, and Honors College distinction, from Grand Canyon University, graduating summa cum laude.
Zoë is a multimodal, integrative clinician who tailors treatment to each individual’s unique needs. Her training includes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT; Beck model, including anxiety exposures), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT and RO-DBT variants), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), with additional exposure to a variety of other approaches. She specializes in working with teen and adult women, focusing on anxiety, depression, stress and time management, life transitions, relational concerns, and clients seeking faith- or religion-integrated psychotherapy.
Zoë is committed to creating a warm, supportive, and safe therapeutic environment where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.

Elizabeth "Liz" Colton
Elizabeth “Liz” Colton is a practicum student working toward her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University. She is dedicated to supporting individuals in their healing process by fostering self-compassion, acceptance, and personal growth through a collaborative and individualized therapeutic approach.
Liz has experience working with grief, trauma, and depression, drawing from person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices. She has a special interest in working with military populations and children.
Liz has lived in Albania, Kosovo, Tennessee, and Hawaii, and enjoys traveling, baking, playing volleyball, spending time outdoors, and being a new mom.

Andie Brookens, BA
Andie Brookens, BA (they/them) is a third-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Northern Arizona University. Within their program, Andie serves on the leadership board of PrideJacks, an LGBTQ+ student organization at NAU North Valley. They earned their bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with academic focus areas in sociology, LGBTQ+ studies, sexual trauma, and gendered violence.
Andie has completed practicum training in neuropsychology clinics, administering assessments for ADHD, autism, learning disorders, and neurocognitive impairment or injury. They have experience working with individuals across the lifespan—from young children to older adults—and are comfortable supporting diverse populations.
Andie is especially passionate about working with gender-diverse individuals and is committed to providing gender-affirming, culturally responsive care. Their goal is to create a supportive, individualized environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to reach their treatment goals.
In their free time, Andie enjoys hiking Arizona’s mountains, playing tabletop RPGs with friends, and spending time with their two cats.
